Sören-Sven Goerke (48), took over the management of i3systems GmbH in Braunschweig in January 2019. He replaces Manfred Treder, who has held this position since 2017. Treder resigned from his position as Managing Director in December 2018.
Sören-Sven Goerke, previously Sales Manager of the ckc group, is particularly distinguished by his good networking in the regional IT industry as well as in the international automotive environment.
The Executive Board of i3systems Fördergemeinschaft e.V. and the Supervisory Board of i3systems GmbH see the acquisition of Goerkes as an important strategic personnel decision:
„Together with Sören-Sven Goerke, we are planning to further expand our business with the Volkswagen Group. In addition, we will intensify our position as a companion for medium-sized digitization offensives. i3systems bundles more than 1,500 IT consultants and developers for this purpose,“ says Andreas Vogel, Chairman of the i3systems Supervisory Board. „Strengthening delivery capability and delivery reliability in the region as well as creating attractive jobs for employees is the basic prerequisite for accompanying our customers in the challenge of digitization,“ says Goerke.
The 20 i3systems member companies are active in IT project business and software development. With currently more than 1500 IT experts, the consortium is in a position to handle major IT projects that are otherwise reserved for IT groups.
